Open office environments have both advantages and disadvantages, but for most employees, the open area can seem both impersonal and disruptive at times. And the result of a major study conducted by the National Research Center for the Working Environment, showed that many employees lack a private workspace for immersive work.
A way in which employees can gain personal space, while companies keep the open-plan work environments, is by using delimiting objects. This could be this bamboo table, for example, which is easily mounted on the surface of the desk with one of the clamps in the collection. The table has a diameter of 480 mm, which provides good storage away from the desk. Furthermore, bamboo gives a warm feeling to the office environment's existing decor and can be used to an advantage on both black and white desks, as the material interrupts the surface and creates extra storage.
