APTO FELT COLLECTION
Did you know that more than 8.3 billion tonnes of plastic have been produced worldwide since the 1950's? And that as much as 9% of this plastic has ended up in the world's oceans after use?* Fortunately, awareness has been raised about this. With APTO, we strive to help solve this problem and turn marine waste into valuable products. Our vision for the future is that we will have an upcycled alternative to all our product categories.
Our first product in the collection was the felt drawer and due to the success of this drawer, we have expanded the range of felt products for the whole office. We use felt in our CLAMP COLLECTION and ADAPT COLLECTION and some felt products can also be found in APTO MULTI CLAMP.
The felt is made of 70% upcycled plastic bottles from the ocean. The felt also functions well in the office due to its sound absorbing properties (Class b).
